Are Your Trainers Certified?
Yes — I earned my certification through the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) in 2023. I am also recognized as an AKC Canine Good Citizen, S.T.A.R. Puppy, and Trick Dog Evaluator. Combined with more than 20 years of hands-on experience training dogs to high levels of competition, these credentials give me a wide range of proven tools and resources to help every dog succeed.
What will my dog learn in training at Absolute Kennels?
At Absolute Kennels, dogs learn more than just commands. From basic manners and leash walking to confidence building and advanced training, we focus on skills that create calm, well-rounded dogs — and happy owners.
What if my dog doesn't get along with other dogs?
Absolutely — we welcome every dog. While their day may be structured a little differently to fit their needs, they are never left out of the fun, care, or activities.
What vaccinations does my dog need?
In accordance with state licensing, all dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines at the time of their stay or training service:
Rabies
DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
Bordetella – must be given within the last 6 months
Heartworm Prevention – Recommend not Required
Flea/Tick Prevention – Recommended not Required, but will be treated at owners expense if found.
